A heavily peated Scotch whisky from Bruichladdich distillery, distilled from barley grown at three local farms on Islay. Distilled in 2011 with the barley peated to a phenol level of 40 ppm, then matured in a combination of 1st fill American whiskey casks and 2nd fill red wine casks. Port Charlotte Islay Barley was bottled at the Bruichladdich distillery, May 2018 at 50% vol.
