Calmel Joseph La Ruffe is a stunning wine with ageing potential but already drinking well. A Syrah Carignan blend named after the ruffes clay limestone blood red soils of the Terrasses du Larzac. Packed with pure fruit and subtle notes of liquorice, menthol, herbs and chocolate. Really complex with elegant tannins on the long finish.

Founded in 1995, Calmel & Joseph is a maison de négoce specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon wines from across the region.
