The spirit produced for Amrut Intermediate starts it’s life in a combination of bourbon & virgin casks, it’s then transferred and matured for a period of time in sherry casks. Making a full circle, it’s relocated back into bourbon casks to complete it’s maturation. Quite a journey, looking forward to trying this exciting, Indian single malt whisky from Amrut.
