One of the oldest official whiskies to be released by Talisker distillery is this 40 year old Island malt, distilled in 1978. This special malt is the first release in The Bodega Series and has been created from whisky matured in refill American oak barrels, then finished in Bodega Delgado Zuleta sherry casks that previously held 40 year old Amontillado sherry! Bottled at 50% vol and beautifully housed in hand carved oak wooden case.
