Released as part of the Cask Exploration series, Port Charlotte OLC: 01 is said to be one of the most unusual expressions to date! A heavily peated single malt, distilled in 2010, (from 2009 Scottish Barley) then filled into ex-bourbon, ex-Syrah and ex-VDN (vin doux naturel) casks. Matured until 2018, then transferred into Oloroso hogsheads from Spanish bodega, Fernando de Castilla.
