Knappogue Castle 21-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a marriage of a 21-year-old and 23-year-old ex-bourbon casks, bottled at 46% abv and non-chill filtered. The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, backed up with rich pastry notesaccented by subtle clove and apple tart spices. The palate is soft and mellow with depth and complexity gained from the long maturation in oak, whilst retaining a malty richness right through to the lingering, spiced finish.
