JM CAZES SELECTION® 1757 Bordeaux 2016 – 4573294100558

This unique wine is a collaboration between O’Briens wine director Lynne Coyle Master of Wine and winemaker Daniel Llose. The grapes were sourced from small, high quality left and right bank vineyards to represent the classic characters of Bordeaux.

The wine was inspired by the renowned Bordeaux-Dublin letters which were written by the Irish expatriate community in Bordeaux. There letters were on the wine trading ship, The Two Sisters of Dublin when it was seized in 1757, and offer a fascinating insight into the the links between the two cities at the time.
