This whisky is aged using the Solera system common in the maturation of sherry. Here the single malt aged seperately in three different cask types is married together and matured, American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak. The vat in which they are matured is constantly topped up to ensure the quality and consistency of the whisky.
