Distilled in 1968 this luxurious 50 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky is said to be the oldest Caol Ila ever bottled! Distilled 21st March 1968, this incredible malt spent it’s entire life slowly maturing in a refill sherry hogshead! Bottled Friday 6th July 2018 and released by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Private Collection range. Only 199 bottles have been filled at cask strength, 52.5% vol.
