Founded in 1897, Caperdonich distillery has a chequered past, to say the least… Now demolished and a member of ‘The Lost Distilleries of Scotland’ club, bottles of this rare single malt Scotch whisky, rarely become available, especially a peated malt, like this 23 year old. A 1994 vintage, bottled in 2017 at 55.9% vol, only 210 bottles released as part of The Distillery Reserve Collection by Chivas Regal. A rare gem indeed.
