Sherwood Estate Pinot Noir is the signature wine of Sherwood estate. Aromas of violets and wood-smoke follow through to a complex palate of raspberry fruit and spice with a lingering smoky finish.

First planted to vine in 1978 by Jill & Dayne Sherwood, the estate is located in the picturesque Waipara Valley and even after 25 years, you can still find Jill & Dayne every day in the winery. True pioneers of the time, Sherwood were the first to plant Pinot Noir in the region and were also the first winery in the region to be fully accredited under the Sustainable Winegrowers guidelines. Last year, saw Sherwood Estate celebrate 25 years of winegrowing; a stamp of proof that they have firmly established themselves as a producer of outstanding varietally-focussed quality wines at great value.
